Each of us have experienced the wide reaching impacts of the pandemic this year; we hope that your family and friends are well and pulling through. Our office has made many major changes recently in response to the pandemic, including thorough cleaning procedures, maintaining social distancing, and implementing a successful telehealth program for remote vision therapy.
As a part of our safety protocols, we have implemented a policy that involves a 14-day waiting period after traveling to high-risk states. We will update the list of high-risk states regularly based on the states listed (in red) as having an ‘Active Outbreak’ on the COVID Act Now website. Thank you for your understanding and support by filling out your weekly risk questionnaire form, wearing face coverings in the office, and arriving on time.
As autumn and the school year approaches, we are also considering the changing schedules of our patients, please let us know as soon as you can what your ideal spot may be and we will do our best to accommodate. Please understand there may be a wait list for your ideal spot.
We are happy to announce that one major change to our practice this year is the growth of our team with the addition of an Associate Doctor! We would like to introduce Dr. Shadaanan Singh to our Denver Vision Therapy patients and families.
Dr. Singh was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida and completed his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. As a student, Dr. Singh was active in giving back to his community by participating in many vision screenings and leading several organizations. After nearly losing his left eye in a car accident, he was motivated to devote his life to improving vision. Dr. Singh has since worked to become a developmental optometrist. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and video games with friends and family.
